Meiko, "Boys With Girlfriends"
It's Tuesday and, assuming you made it through the ice storm unscathed, it's looking relatively quiet out there tonight. Third and Lindsley's got the Toys for Tots benefit, featuring Brett Dennen and L.A.-by-way-of-Georgia songer-singwriter Meiko. Not to be confused with '70s galactic disco band Meco, whose cassette of funky Star Wars theme songs more or less blew my adolescent mind. What I gather from watching Meiko's video for "Boys With Girlfriends" is that guys who date furries have trouble remembering they're taken when presented with attractive women who play guitar and flirtatiously pretend to have moustaches.
