Are you Canadian? Have you ever had a thing for Canadians? Were you planning on moving to Canada if Obama lost? Do you think Canada is the new L.A.? Then I've got some news that's going to make your day. New Pornographer A.C. Newman is bringing his opie ass to the Mercy Lounge on Mar. 21 with opening act The Broken West. I know that Mar. 21 seems a long way a way--101 days to be exact--so I've gone through the trouble of making you a customized counter that will count down the seconds until doors open. Bookmark it and watch the digital sand fall through the hourglass as showtime gets closer and closer.

Tickets are $12 in advance--get them here--and $14 at the door.

If Obama had lost, Canada would be no sort of sanctuary: http://www.slate.com/id/2206040/. The Canucks have lost their minds!
