Interesting reading. I think number 8 (both the original piece and the Nashville Scene staff's rigid responses) nicely encapsulates what is wrong with this blog. And it's funny how everyone who has joined on as a contributor since then has fallen right in line, adopting the same thin-skinned, vengeful attitude toward criticism, and the same blind allegiance to their fellow comrades.
It's much easier to walk in lock-step if you're wearing capris pants...just sayin'.
Wait, what happened with TobintheGnome & Alexis Powell??!? Did he ask her out & get shot down??
My guess is that Alexis wouldn't go on a date with a fellow who demands to remain shrouded in anonymity. Capes and masks don't translate too well in reality.

Having no way to contact Ms. Powell, I did not get the opportunity to formally ask her for a date.
However, even if I did have a method of contact, I would, in all likelihood, not ask her out. Not because she is unattractive or unappealing in any way (actually quite the opposite is true), but that goddesses don't often waste their time with socially retarded internet trolls.
I think a celebratory line of apparel is in order. Nashville Creamed jeans (or capris), anyone?
