Here's a riddle for ya: What's white, made of vinyl and contains a song from the Rocky IV soundtrack on the B side?

If you answered, "The new 7-inch single by The Protomen, 'Father of Death' b/w 'No Easy Way Out,' out Nov. 8 on Theory 8 Records," then you're absolutely right. Download the A side if you so desire.

Thanks, WOTT, for the nudge.

shameless self promo:
we are celebrating the release at 12th and porter on nov 8th.
$8 cover gets you in with a FREE 7 inch that comes with a digital download coupon and not only allows you to see The Protomen, but also Shoot The Mountain and Eureka Gold.
that's a lot of bang for your buck(s).

I am all over this. I can only hope that maybe the first record is put out on vinyl one day (speaking of local bands on vinyl, wasn't Glossary going to put out their back catalog on wax?). And also that How I Became the Bomb releases the last three songs from their EP on a 7".
