The fiercely named punkish indie-rock trio Ocelots are throwing a CD release bash tomorrow at everyone's favorite record store. That's right—EVERYONE'S. It's free, and it's a great way to catch some of Ocelots' raw, upbeat, melodic punk. For fans of Minutemen, Silkworm, Seam, etc. Get a copy of The Cellar and the Ghost Have Let Us Down while you're there. But beware...you may encounter crews of baby pirates armed to the teeth with tiny knives and pistols.

This will be fantastic. I picked up my copy of the record yesterday, and cannot recommend it highly enough.
Also, fans of instores should check out STNNNG tonight, also at Grimeys. 6pm. Yes. And then later at the Springwater.

We have some exciting news to add to our cd release show. We've heard the call from Joe Six Pack down on Main Street and we have answered that call; the call for cookies. Under our plan, there will be a heck of a lot of cookies for everyone who comes. However, this will be a bring-your-own-milk event. God bless you and God bless America and stuff.
