From Pollstar:

Indie rock duo The Kills has hit a bump in the road on its current tour in support of The Raconteurs.

The band's tour bus, driver and luggage have gone missing somewhere between Los Angeles and Austin.

The group, Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince, issued a statement on their web site that walks the line between concerned and seriously pissed off.

"Our bus driver is missing and/or hurt/dead/or a thief," Mosshart said. "Our bus has disappeared.

"How can 3 tons of black metal vanish into thin air? I'm asking myself the same f***ing question."

According to published reports, the bus and driver were last seen early September 26 at a Prevost bus dealership in L.A., where the driver stopped to get new tires.

The band has asked fans to keep an eye out for a black Prevost tour bus with Tennessee license plates with the number 0305 EA and notify authorities immediately if they spot it.

Fess up, I know it was one of you. Has anyone seen the Magic Wands around?

If they're as irritating in person as they were onstage at the Ryman last night, I would have ditched them too if I was their driver.
