Hot Goss New Track Alert: Umbrella Tree

So, it was literally yesterday when I was driving along wondering to myself: Where the hell has Umbrella Tree been? Well, it's like they sensed my heart growing fonder in their absence because a new track was posted today on the Cephalopod Records' MySpace profile. It's an atypically subdued version of their usual bipolar bohemian bookworm pop, with a plinky Casio keyboard lick that has officially roped and hogtied the untamed steed that is my heart.

Yeah, and I'm still drunk from last night. Whoever that was playing at Mad Donnas was great.
Through the rumor puppy mill I have been told that Zack of Umbrella Tree and his wife Rachel have as of last night posted a music Myspace page as "The Greshams", but it hasn't shown up in the music searches yet I guess b/c Myspace hates us! So keep an eye out!
So yeah you can find it searching now, but you have to select people in the search bar instead of music, my bad...

The subdued U Tree is beautiful....like when they played at Family Wash, all acoustic-y shepard pie goodness!
If "What Kind of Books Do You Read?" was their
"teenage" years and "The Church and The Hosptal" was their "college" years Umbrella Tree's upcoming piano driven album "The Letter C" should wind up being their "adult" years, and through their ever thoughtful, beautifully melodic music one "can drink the water anywhere and never catch any disease."
