So my fellow Cream Teamers and I were driving back to the office from lunch this afternoon when we spotted something unbelievable on Music Row. You know those Red Bull ad-mobiles with an overwhelming amount of graphics and text? It was similar to one of those, only for Fret Candy. What is Fret Candy you ask? Why, only where the coolest guitar players go to get the “sweetest inlays EVER.” From their website:
The Confectioners at the FretCandy factory are masters of inlay. Using materials from God's creation to man's, beauty flows freely casting visual concepts that are based on music's many expressions of emotion. Impacting the visual senses is achieved by exquisite design ideas and masterful hands using intense inlay techniques. When Art and Machine Come Together, virtually any design idea becomes a possibility. Precise details with clean, crisp execution are the order of the day. The mixture of talent, skill, commitment and care, are blended to create a beautiful ambiance that befits any ones place setting at the table of life.
Visual senses? Place setting at the table of life?!? I don’t know what planet these dudes are from, but custom inlays like “Gecko LiteFingers” and “Sword Power” are our first class, one-way tickets there.
