Sultans of Southwestern countrified rock Calexico have just announced they’ll be playing Mercy Lounge on Nov. 10, and their latest release Carried To Dust hits stores today. Last time Calexico passed through with Iron & Wine, steel player Paul Niehaus (also of Lambchop) was part of their lineup—we’re hoping he’ll be laying down that sweet, sweet steel again this go-round.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for $15. Check out their video for “Two Silver Trees” off Carried To Dust. Airplane graveyards, Mexican artwork and dusty old buildings—possibly the most accurate visual representation of a band I’ve ever seen.
