Hey, want to munchy-wunch some lomticks of toast whilst taking in some organ music? Well, the Schermerhorn's got a real nice set of pipes, and you could spend your lunch hour hearing them in action. Check it:
PREPARE TO BE AMAZED
Join us for the second season of our popular Lunchtime Organ Recital series. On four different Fridays during the season, Organist-in-Residence Andrew Risinger will give an entertaining and informative demonstration of the Nashville Symphony's incomparable Martin Foundation Concert Organ. The first in this series will take place on Friday, September 19, at noon in Laura Turner Concert Hall. Come hungry and enjoy a reasonably priced boxed lunch during these informal, one-hour concerts suitable for the entire family.
Ticket Information
Seating is reserved, and tickets to the Lunchtime Organ Recitals must be purchased in advance at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center box office or over the phone by calling 615.687.6400. Lunch packages, which include a boxed lunch, beverage and one recital ticket at a table or in a box, are just $15 each. Concert-only tickets may be purchased for $5 each. Doors open at 11 a.m. Lunchtime Organ Recital tickets are not available online
Don't know if Risinger does a
certain DJ Shadow song, but that'd be cool.
