Holy pill-poppers, there's another headline about a teen swallowing a mystery substance, this time at McGavock High School. Could it be the same drug seducing Columbia, Tenn. teens at the fair? Lucky for us, there are a tiny few extra details this time, like, the fact that it's a clear liquid. (Side note: It's totally a new day for drug use—all the drugs I was ever offered in high school were totes mainstream and easily identifiable.)
"McGavock student hospitalized after ingesting liquid drug."
Teen takes drug, teen becomes "unresponsive." That's all they know, except that apparently scoring drugs at McGavock is easier than finding a musician to date.
And it's a "clear liquid drug that is believed to be a designer drug similar to Ecstasy. The main ingredient is Butanediol and it is homemade. Side effects can be red or puffy, blotchy skin, especially around the face."
Charges against fellow student/dealer who supplied the dose are pending lab results.
