New Nashvillians The Ettes will be hosting their very own dance party tonight at Springwater under the name Swiz Kids. Expect a fun mix of Garage, Beat, psychadelic and punk. Vermicious K'nids and The Tits get things started right around rock o'clock. (Also known as 9-ish.)

And don't forget: The Ettes appear as themselves tomorrow night at The Basement, a CD release show of sorts. (The official release date isn't until Sept. 9, but they will have copies of the new album, Look at Life Again Soon, with them at the show.) The show is also Brian Ritchey's CD release celebration for If I Were a Painter, with Pale Blue Dot rounding things out.

from the lack of comments here, i guess no one is real excited about these cats moving here.
Maybe we've reached hipster saturation level.
