Rich Ladies for McCain

If you see groups of "professional women" (as they're called in the recruiting email that went out yesterday) around town, and they're singing (or at least lip-syncing) these words:

And we’re all just raisin’ McCain

Everywhere across the USA

You can get on the train or get out of the way

We’re all just raisin’ McCain

then they're probably hamming it up for the new John Rich video. Crews will be out filming all over Nashville today. I'll admit that I haven't downloaded "Raisin' McCain" yet (you can have a listen over at Nashvillest), but I do keep imagining "just raisin' McCain" sung to the tune of "It's Raining Men."

It reminds me of that movie "Silver Streak." It's a comedy, and the train wrecks at the end.

I'm not listening to this song but I can already tell you it is made of FAIL. "RAISIN McCain"? It's probably a pretty bad idea to give people more reasons to associate John McCain with old, shriveled up things.

This is the best news the Obama campaign has had in months. Gawd, does that tune suck balls. I forced myself to listen till the end, but it wasn't easy.
By the way, if you haven't seen some of the fabulous video footage of John McCain at the Sturgis biker rally:

I worked on the "live" performance part of the shoot yesterday and got to listen to this jam about ten times in a row.
Rich is actually an Obama man, but admitting that would probably destroy his career.
