1. Perhaps you're a minimalist or like cellos.

Maybe you'll meet someone at the party who's read a book you really love, and you'll hit it off, and you'll end up on the couch drunk at 3 a.m. talking about Bishop's letters to Lowell, or about Szymborska, or the lines: "What you’ve waited for is being born. / The one you’re seeking will begin to sing."
3. You just can't help but be optimistic sometimes.
