National Skyline Super Tuesday: Paramore Talk Politics

So, who are all those nubile Christian emo kids pulling for in the 2008 presidential election? We're gonna guess that their candidate of choice is male (like Jesus), Christian (like Jesus) and thinks that gayness is, like, totally gay.
And who will the guyliner mafia not be supporting? Paramore guitarist Josh Farro has an idea. In an online chat with fans for Gigwise, the Franklinite offered this nuanced take on the political race:
“I haven’t really looked into US politicians that much this year. I really hope Hillary Clinton doesn’t get elected cause she’s crazy!!!!”
Maybe if Pete Wentz was running, he'd be paying more attention.

good god! if people don't know what's going on with politics or have no real basis for their opinions, they really should keep it to themselves. Otherwise they come across as ignorant and silly. Like our friend Josh has.

I'm voting for Barack Obama because I want to see an African American in the White House.
I knew something was up with that guy. He doesn't even put the whammy bar on his Jazzmaster. What a waste.
first of all, there are plenty of reasons not to vote for Obama that has nothing to do with his name.
stabert - what idolator picked up on, which has eluded you, is that these guys will prob. vote for Obama. rather than vote for a repub. b/c they're from franklin (which you so eloquently imply), they'll vote for Obama b/c they're young (and frankly, don't know any better).

Actually, they then implied that they would vote for Huckabee (due to the whole Christian thing):
"So we'll just go ahead and put a tick next to 'Obama,' Josh. (Actually given the whole Xtian thing the legal members of Paramore might end up voting for Huckabees oh noes!)"
I still can't believe that some crazy people take the whole "Christian" thing into account when they vote these days.. You'd think our country was founded on it or something.
it may or may not have been founded on christianity (hint: it wasnt), but i'd say they didnt need help from the huckster when writing the constitution.
I didn't vote for Obama because he's Church of Christ, and those people are fucking crazy.

America is a free country. Paramore is just as free as any of us to SPEAK THERE MINDS. Leave them alone.

Paramore seemed like such a cool band, why haven't they seen the light of polotics. I'm white and my dad is Christian, but I support Barrack Obama 100%. People have to look past race, strereotypes, and being a liberal or a conservative, democrat or republican. People are people, we all love, cry, shit, and die(do not steal my line or i will fuck you up). We all want whats best for our country America.
