Holy Rattlesnakes

It's a sing-along party. With pudding snacks. An ad-hoc committee of (two) Neutral Milk Hotel fans has organized a happening: an a cappella singing of the Mangum opus In The Aeroplane Over the Sea. We've been told:

You see, I've heard of bands covering the entire album at shows, and my best friend and I wanted to do something similar this summer. We're fans of spontaneous sing-alongs and all things Neutral Milk Hotel, so we put the two together and there you have it. Regardless of how many people show up (although we hope it's a bunch), we know it'll be great because there isn't a Neutral Milk Hotel fan who doesn't know this album by heart.
Will people get a little quiet when they get to the line about the, er, stained mountaintops? We'll just have to wait until July 15 and see. I'm bringing tomatoes and radio wire, how about you?
