Idolator has started a new feature called Unbloggable to highlight acts whose popularity has skyrocketed despite no love from the blogosphere. Sure, it'd be easy to just mention how little real-world leverage music bloggers actually have with the rest of the mainstream record-buying public, but thanks to bloggers, you're just as obsessed with that Sea Wolf song as the rest of us (if not, please let us know how you resisted).
Their first featured artist? Franklin's own Paramore, who despite occupying the main stage on the Warped Tour, getting rotation for quite some time now on Fuse and selling a bunch of records in a week, can't get the illuminati to so much as glance in their direction.
I don't think it's such a wacky phenomenon: most music blogs are indie-rock love affairs, and Paramore is a tight, slick pop-punk band. Those tricks are for kidz.*
