For those of you who didn't know, Coolfer is a music industry blogger who crunches numbers and analyzes stats, making real sense out of all those sales figures and mergers and what's happening in the music biz these days. His blog is full of industry coverage from multiple angles, and he's always posting about new, more artist-friendly technology or wagging a reproachful finger at the industry's slow pace in catching up with advancements.
He's from Brooklyn, but he lives in Nashville currently because he's getting his MBA at Vandy, and their Owen Graduate School of Management is conducting a survey about how people find, buy and learn about new music. Surely the info will be used to solve the Iraq conundrum, or at least make Pandora work a little better.
