Remember Autumn Addict, the local production company that books 12th and Porter and pissed everybody off at the Next Big Nashville show last summer? According to this Channel 2 News story they "have their finger on the pulse of Nashville's music scene and have chosen 12 local Indie bands to showcase on a DVD compilation known as 12 Nashville."
Notes on the Channel 2 story:
1. Bang Bang Bang and Jeremy Lister, who both appear on the DVD, are on Warner Brothers, a MAJOR label.
2. The story also spells the name of Nashville's hottest turds wrong. Yes, I'm talking about the five brooding dudes in makeup known as "Legion," whose moniker is actually spelled "Ligion," not that anybody who doesn't work at the Buzz cares.
3. Finally can anyone remember the last time anyone besides Kip Winger went to 12th and Porter, and why? ("Heather Byrd to try to take his picture" doesn't count.)
