Tweedy-tastic!

Last night's Jeff Tweedy solo show at TPAC was not what I expected. The man who uttered barely 15 words at the Ryman while fronting Wilco in the fall was vertitably chatty—and talked about poop a lot. Instead of a classic setlist, Tweedy explained that he always takes a list of all the songs he knows and crosses off the ones he doesn't like. At one point, while taking requests he explained, "If it's blacked out on the list I can't see it."
Well, a friend of a friend nabbed said "setlist" and the Scene's art director managed to snap a pic.
As cool as this is, it made me kinda sad—you mean we could have heard "Mountain Bed," "Passenger Side" or "New Madrid"? Dang!

Look forward to a full run-down of Tweedy's gig in this week's Spin. We'll explain about the poop.
