Zanies is a solid comedy club that books some really good acts. I'm into alt. comics and they book enough of them to keep me satisfied. A night of live comedy with a skilled comedian is the most underrated ticket in town. Anytime I take someone new to comedy to see a good performer, they always thoroughly enjoy themselves. I live near by and go about about once a month.
To racist black guy above, they add 15% gratuity to everyones bill, regardless of race, color or species. They do not advertise this, however if you would simply look at your receipt, you'd see it. Keep this in mind. The wait staff is generally good, and you are there for a comedy show so you should tip some on top of that if they give you good service.

Stunned and highly disapointed in his act. Went to see him based on his great performances had humor on SNL and 30 Rock. I guess a script written for you can really make a differance. As a solo act this man is totally xxxxx- rating . Every single joke was about sex, sex and more sex. In fact the 2 comics before him were the same. The best comic yet was the elder of them all, sure he had some dirty jokes, but they were no near as vulgar and had other clean jokes that were very funny. He should have been the Headliner. At one point I that Tracey was going to pull his drawers down to expose his privates as he talked about black pubic hair. This man used the N Word so often I was offended and I'm white. Hell I never thought someone could use the F would in every single sentence, but he managed to do that as well. The worst was when he poked fun at the late Michael Jackson referring to him as a pedifile. The man was found not guilty after 14 weeks on trail with the fear of being put in jail forever. I personally was unjustly charged for crimes I did'nt commit because of a corrupt legal system . The person involved had connections with the city and police and tried to assault me on more than one occasion and criminally detained me in the street preventing me from driving away all on video and police did Shit. Black people of all should know the injustice of our legal system. I will never get over what I lived through. I can only imagine Micheal's stress, pain, and depression and isolation after the trial which I'm sure had it's effects on his early death. Heard Tracey Morgan cried during an interview recalling his difficult childhood. Where was his sensitivity to Michael and his family during his cruel jokes about him in his act. There are so many talented comics who don't rely 100% on extreme vulgarity and unfounded personal attacks on the dead to get a laugh. Johnny Carson, George Wallace, Ellen Degeneras, Joy Behar and Joan Rivers , Jerry Steinfeld, Robin Willaims, George Carlin to name a few. Tracey can't you me the funny guy on stage that you are on t.v. Like I said SCRIPTS make people funny. Stick to that and stay away from stand up comedy.

It was easy to tell that he was high the minute he started talking. He then proceeded to do about 30 minutes on vaginal farts and oral anal. Cheap laughs and he beat the hell out of a dead horse. We walked out after 45 minutes. Can I get a refund?
It's an ok place. However, when you are black, they will charge you a tip on your bill. If you are white, then the tip is optional if there are just 2 of you. I think if there is a table of six or more they will add the tip to your bill. But African American? (your tip will be automatically put on your bill).

Wow! Way too much about sex, oral, anal, jerking off....he was high, slow, hard to understand (a bit wobbly at times) and a huge disappointment! The "warm up comedian" was better. Too bad, he's a funny guy - hopefully it was a bad night. I can't imagine that people will continue to see him after word gets out about this act!
