Steve Lee is more than just yet another awesome Asian-American guy named Steve. He’s also a musician, songwriter and preschool music teacher (not to mention a wacky Instagram doodler, usually involving googly eyes). The latest kid-centric creation to spring from his joyfully odd and uplifting imagination is the stage show “Trash 2 Treasure,” a “60-minute socially conscious extravaganza” of music, videos and audience participation at the newly renovated Bongo After Hours Theatre. Gabe Dixon will play keyboard, and Leigh Nash (of Sixpence None the Richer) will play the part of the Recycling Queen. Lee promises it will be the “happiest show in town.” Tickets are $7 for kids 5 and under, $10 for ages 6-10, $15 for ages 11-100 and free to anyone who’s made it past the century mark.
