A friend recently declared the day before Thanksgiving one of his favorite days of the year to go out. Old friends are often back in town to visit, one’s work week has more than likely ended, and there's not a whole hell of a lot to do the next day except eat and watch football (and, uh, talk to your family, we suppose). Thing is, holidays while hung over ain't a whole lot of fun for anyone. So why not celebrate suds-style after Christmas this year? Along those lines, the Yazoo Brewery Taproom will be open 4-8 p.m. Friday and 2-8 p.m. Saturday, with regular brewery tours at 2:30, 3:30, 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. You belated types can even pick up a growler of the brewery's beer and four pint glasses for under 30 bones, for anyone you might have left off your list.
