Wynonna has a lot to be thankful for. She has had not one but two successful careers, in a business that is known for manufacturing sensation as bright and brief as a bottle rocket’s tail. Hot on the heels of her final tour with mother Naomi, Wynonna lit out on her Thanks and Giving tour earlier this month. Each stop included the chance for 10 fans to have a special meet-and-greet backstage before the show, along with a night packed with greatest hits and new favorites. Since 1984, when the Judds broke onto the charts, Wynonna’s voice has stood out among a generation of powerful country belters, while also trading down-home harmonies and heartaches with her mother. Before going back into the studio next month, she will be appearing at 3rd and Lindsley, bringing the same fire she has kept stoked all these years.
