William Tyler w/Kopecky Family Band & more

When: Thu., June 7, 6 p.m. 2012
The second weekend of June is always a precarious time to be a broke music fan in Nashville. While all of your friends surge toward Manchester for four days of fun in the blazing, awful Bonnaroo sun, you’re left to contend with the swarms of tourists, out for blood and Taylor Swift autographs. It’s enough to make you want to rock back and forth in a corner until the weekend is over. Don’t fret, Bonnaroo skipper! Imogene + Willie understands your plight and is here to help. Nashville’s most stylish denim parlor hosts a swank party for the ’Roo-less, featuring free drinks from Holland House, coffee from Barista Parlor, cold beer from Yazoo, and performances by guitar virtuoso William Tyler, baroque indie rockers Kopecky Family Band and more. I+W is characteristically keeping their lips sealed about what exactly is in store, but if nothing else, the evening is sure to distract you from the fact that you’re not getting crowdsurfed on by Yelawolf right now.
