Whitney Ferre could be the poster child for multi-tasking. In between raising three kids, running Rumours Wine Bar and Rumours East with co-owner Christy Shuff, teaching art and creativity classes and making her own paintings, she's found time to write The Artist Within: A Guide to Becoming Creatively Fit. A collection of insights and exercises designed to tap into your creative abilities, The Artist Within is only partly about learning how to make artwork. Ferre's real goal is to empower you to use those abilities to clarify your life's dreams, to apply artistic concepts to your career and to find harmony and balance in all aspects of your life. In addition to a book signing, the event features a wine tasting and an exhibit of some of Ferre's recent artwork.
