What's Going on up There at Watkins

Hot for Teacher

Hot for Teacher
The title of the latest Watkins faculty exhibit at the Brownlee O. Currey, Jr. Gallery seems to be asking two questions: 1. Which direction are the teachers heading in this year? And 2. What could possibly be happening in the actual, physical space between their ears? They say those who can't do, teach, but What's Going On Up There will likely silence such criticisms while showing off the talent pool at a school that has consistently added challenging, dedicated artists to its roster of educators. Keep your eyes peeled for work by Assistant Professor of Fine Art Ron Lambert, whose work as a video artist, sculptor and curator has consistently been the highlight of a number of gallery shows around town this year.
Mondays-Sundays. Starts: Sept. 4. Continues through Sept. 27, 2009
