Big, big props to the Brick Factory for facilitating the local experimental music scene and getting us out of the house (shows). Not that we don’t love a good house show — last time we caught Molyneux at his pad-slash-performance space Richland Ballroom was super-cool — but there is something to be said for, oh, not having to worry about taking a dump at a stranger’s house. (Sorry dudes, we’ll get a mercy flush in next time!) Also, there’s something to be said for exploring the art of sound in space actually made for art. It ups the ante for some of the city’s most creative folks, and they always rise to the occasion. You can expect Molyneux, his former bandmate T.J. Richards — aka NYC’s Trabajo — and Hobbledeions’ Scott Martin to expand your wigdome to epic proportions.
