Toad the Wet Sprocket w/Dave Pahanish

When: Sat., Aug. 13, 8:30 p.m. 2011
Price: $22-$25
Well, we’ve got to say we’re really happy to hear that Ambidextrous Rex has finally recovered from that tragic, mysterious accident — “fell off the back of a motorcyclist,” allegedly — and gotten out the ol’ electric triangle to melt the world’s face with the legendary Toad The Wet Sprocket again. It just seems so unlikely that a sketch from Monty Python’s Contractual Obligation album would ever tour again. Oh, wait ... Toad the Wet Sprocket is an actual real band? From the ’90s? So what you’re saying is that there’s a the Wet Sprocket? You’ve got to be kidding. Are Poached Salmon opening up? Did Charisma eventually remarry the donkey? We’re so confused. band that took their name from the classic “Rock Notes” sketch and have been around for, like, two-and-half decades and had a bunch of hits — with the name Toad
