[Editor's note: Due to severe weather warnings, TNT has been postponed until Friday, Feb 21.]
“Expect the opulence of Versailles, the romance of the Eiffel Tower, and the glamour of the Paris runways, all coupled with Chancellor Warhol’s one-of-a-kind art rap.” That’s a pretty tall order, but if anybody can pull it off, our money’s on the folks at OZ Nashville. TNT — which stands for Thursday Night Things — is OZ’s new third-Thursday event series. The inaugural event features a set by Chancellor Warhol, who hosted the listening party for his new album Paris Is Burning at Adventure Science Center’s Sudekum Planetarium. Light artist and former Beastie Boys collaborator Benton-C Bainbridge will do all he can to rival the dynamism of that celestial soundstage in an accompanying light installation called “Illuminate Paris.” Food, drinks and conversation are also promised.
