At The Belcourt: The Sergio Corbucci spaghetti Western retrospective continues with Burt Reynolds as Navajo Joe (Thursday), Franco Nero and Jack Palance in the seriocomic epic The Mercenary (Saturday and Sunday), and the immortal Django, starring Nero and the theme song that won the West (Dec. 12-13). This weekend's Belcourt midnight movie Friday and Saturday: Tommy Wiseau's The Room, plastic spoons mandatory. Saturday 10 a.m. at The Belcourt: a special holiday screening of The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Thursday, 7 p.m. at Green Hills: a digital screening of Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, in theaters for one night only. Saturday, 11:55 a.m. at Green Hills: a broadcast of Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera from the Metropolitan Opera.
