The WannaBeatles at W.O Smith School of Music

With a Little Help From my Friends

With a Little Help From my Friends
It was 42 years ago last week, Sgt. Pepper proved that he…wasn’t meek? Climbed a snow-topped peak? Lost at hide-and-seek? OK, Lennon or McCartney I’m not, but I know a great show—and great cause—when I see one. Fab Four tribute band The WannaBeatles celebrate the 42nd anniversary of the June 1, 1967, release of the Greatest Album Of All Time, joined by an impressive and diverse lineup of special guests: Wynonna, guitar legend Phil Keaggy, David Ball, Jonny Lang, the Fisk Jubilee Singers, Thomas Cain and Beegie Adair. Not to mention author and former Apple Records exec Ken Mansfield, who will share stories from the glory days. And it all benefits the undeniably fab W.O. Smith Nashville Community Music School, which provides music instruction to children from low-income families for 50 cents a lesson.
