There’s a joke to be made here about the conjunction of band names, but forget about that; Dave Cloud fans want to know about his new project, Cavalcade of Cock. Cloud says he decided to form a side project while hanging out and “makin’ tapes” with an old friend, keyboardist Joe Davis. He added guitarist Paul Booker to the mix shortly after: “I never tell Paul no if he wants to play.” This, their third performance, will likely include a mix of covers (“Behind Closed Doors” by Charlie Rich, a.k.a. the Silver Fox) and Cloud originals like “Dance, Dance, Dance” and “Subliminal Face”. Naturally, Cloud picked the name himself. Along with punkers the Tits, they’re two great tastes that go great together—aw, nuts, I couldn’t resist.
