Having grown up a live-music fan in West Nashville, I can personally attest to the need for a legitimate music venue further west than Elliston Place. Though not technically open yet, The Stone Fox is shaping up to be the music venue of my teenage dreams. It’s opening soon in The Nations, and sibling co-owners William and Elise Tyler have big plans for the venue, including a well-stocked bar, carefully chosen concerts, significant community involvement and, as it turns out, a garden. To raise money for said garden, the Tylers are throwing a rad fundraiser at Brick Factory, featuring performances by Willie T himself, avant tape-looper Stephen Molyneux, King Karl (not to be confused with would-be Stone Fox inaugurators King Tuff), Snakeyez and more. Food and booze will be available by donation, which will all go to Stone Fox’s garden fund.
