The Nashville Symphony Orchestra with Ben Folds

Our adopted son Ben Folds just can't seem to give up the quest to make us love him. First he films a recent music video on the streets of Lower Broad, and now he's teaming up with our local treasure, The Nashville Symphony Orchestra, to help kick off their 2008/2009 season. The piano pop legend's clever turns of phrase and infectious hooks will be given the richest treatment possible as he receives backing under the direction of conductor Albert-George Schram. The contrast between Fold's sometimes spastic, often irreverent and occasionally exquisite tunes and the grandiosity of the setting should make for an interesting evening of music--and earn the bespectacled troubadour even more love from his new hometown.
