Take some country-style cooking, add a road trip, open bar and a dozen or so finely bred equine specimens and you have a special Saturday on your hands. The first event of its kind presented by Belle Meade Plantation, this daytrip to Kentucky Downs includes breakfast, lunch, adult beverages and admission to the $50,000 Steeplechase Race at the legendary racetrack. Considering all that, $100 seems like a bargain, and if the stars align in your favor up in the Bluegrass state you might even come out on top--if so, happy hour is on you.
