Sista Style Productions' Mary McCallum is no shrinking violet when it comes to the subject matter in her original plays. McCallum is interested in social upheaval and relational issues, and her latest work probes beneath the surface of a picture-perfect marriage and what happens when an anniversary celebration becomes the catalyst for a confrontation with past demons and personal secrets. McCallum's comrade in dramatic craft, Shawn Whitsell, holds the directorial reins for this premiere, enacted by a veritable repertory company of players, including David Chattam, Tamiko Robinson, Alicia Ridley and the playwright herself. A portion of the proceeds are being donated to Rutherford County tornado victims.
Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: May 1. Continues through May 9, 2009
