Originally hailing from North Carolina, family band The Bridges have recently made the move to Nashville via Oxford, Ala. It is here in Music City that they will spread the good gospel of their pathologically pitch-perfect pop. Taking harmony-driven co-ed pop influences—à la Fleetwood Mac or the Mamas and the Papas—and updating them with a Music Row sheen, The Bridges make pop country for people too cool to admit they like pop country. (Paging Movement Nashville.) As photogenic as an Aaron Spelling cast and about as wholesome as a puppy dog licking an ice cream cone, the band are sure to be a welcome fit for Nashville—safety and all.
