One of Nashville's most well liked denizens, Kat Martin is most visible as a singer with Music City's favorite '80s cover band, Guilty Pleasures. But at her day gig, "Dogs and Kat," she specializes in dog training and behavior counseling, and she's developed a rabid (!) following. A few weeks ago she opened See Spot Eat: A Doggy Bakery in a storefront on Bransford Avenue, where she sells homemade treats--canine birthday cakes, pupcakes, liver brownies, pupsicles--as well as premium dog food, toys, training supplies, leashes, collars and more. This Saturday, See Spot Eat hosts a Howl-o-ween party, so bring your demonic dachshunds, menacing mastiffs and creepy corgis for an afternoon of doggie debauchery. Several local rescue groups will be there, as will howlistic (!!) dog healer Raquel Wynn, author of Stretch Your Dog Healthy. (Mention Cesar Millan at your own riskKat makes a strong case for why he's full of dog poop.)
