Nashville CARES AIDS Walk

On Saturday, September 26 in Nashville's Bicentennial Mall State Park, three charities will demonstrate that Middle Tennessee is such a great community. On that day, CommunityNashville, Happy Tales Humane, and Nashville CARES are co-producing one great event that combines three fundraising walks, a pancake breakfast, stage entertainment, kids' activities, and a Community Health & Wellness Fair. Hours: 6 am-10 pm daily.
A 19-acre park & outdoor history museum feat. an amphitheater, a 200-foot granite map depicting every city in the state, 31 fountains representing each of Tennessee's rivers, a botanical garden & a 1,400-ft. wall engraved with Tennessee's historic events. A patriotic medley of bells plays at noon on the 11th of each month in remembrance of those killed in the Sep. 11 terrorist attacks. Hours: 6 am-10 pm daily.
