The last time Telekinesis came through town, their debut album hadnt been released yet, and the band was severely ill with something they had contracted in the seething vector of disease that is South by Southwest. This time around, Michael Lerner (who almost single-handedly performed said debut album with the help of producer and Death Cab guitarist Chris Walla) and his band should be in much better shape, ready to dole out their smart, endearing (and now widely available) indie pop. Speaking of smart and endearing, Aussie due An Horse continue to tour on the strength of Re-Arrange Beds, their collection of incisive, funny and sometimes heartbreaking fuzz-jangle gems. You might think you dont want to hear a song called Camp Out post-Bonnaroo, but you do. Its a goodun.
