Taqueria Del Sol serves a hybrid of Southern and Latin cuisine — think fried chicken tacos, barbecue tacos, and daily specials from Low Country chicken to shrimp and grits. You can get a straight Mexican meal with favorites like queso and chips to beef enchiladas, but try one of the innovations like roast chicken enchiladas in lemon cream sauce or the shrimp and corn chowder. Occasionally the food leans toward Southern restraint when what you want is Latin passion. Usually, but not always, it’s nothing a little Sriracha can’t fix.
