Given his youth, youd expect Josh Williams to have charged out of the chute with his own thing after leaving Rhonda Vincent & the Rage almost a year and a half ago. Instead, the lanky holder of the IBMAs Guitar Player of the Year title has taken his time, freelancing with artists like Larry Stephenson and Randy Kohrs and working on a solo release while assembling a group of like-mindedand for the most part equally youngmusicians in sync with his stylistically conservative but energetic and exceedingly well-crafted approach. But while theyre still a work-in-progress, the Band has been establishing a firm footing and already displays a dizzying amount of talent, not to mention a considerable dose of country soul.
