Celebrate the longest day of the year with the pounding of a drum circle resonating across 400 acres of farmland. The 33rd annual music festival kicks off with music workshops, hiking, yoga, creek walks, crafts and music around the campfire. Jeff Poppen, a.k.a. TV's "Barefoot Farmer," hosts the seasonal celebration on his property, Long Hungry Creek Organic Farm, about 70 miles from Nashville. This year's musical highlights include golden-voiced honky-tonk hero (and former Nashvillian) Greg Garing, country-soul man Jamie Hartford, Nashville Bluegrass Band, Jay Patten, Ballhog and the crunk bluegrass of the Dry Valley Gamblers. Bring your instruments, your family and whatever else youll need for the weekend. The three-day event costs $40; Saturday and Sunday is $30. For information, visit barefootfarmer.com.
