The Adventure Science Center. Classic tunes. Synchronized lasers. What’s not to like? Seriously though, the center’s Sudekum Planetarium has organized what is perhaps the most impressive triple-header in the history of local laser-related entertainment events. (Feel free to fact-check me on that if you like.) It all starts with a presentation of songs from The Prince of Pop “set to lasers, stars and special effects.” Tunes will range from Jackson 5 classics like “ABC” to game-changers like “Billie Jean,” “Thriller” and even “Black or White.” That’s the perfect show to bring the little ones to, but if it’s a date-night scenario you’re looking for, stick around for the second presentation: She Blinded Me With Lasers. Not to be confused with the poignant recent documentary on the dangers of LASIK surgery (just kidding), She Blinded Me With Lasers features music from Tears for Fears, Duran Duran, INXS, Thomas Dolby and several other ’80s superstars. Then, ditch the little ones and the date — unless they like to party, that is — for lasers as they’re truly meant to be experienced: accompanied by the music of Pink Floyd. The shows are $8 apiece or $20 all together, if you’re willing to put in a full three hours.
