This spring, we’ve had tornadoes and floods, lions and tigers and bears, oh my. But not a whole lot of sun. That’s the bad news. The good news is that summer is just around the corner! Time to get rid of that farmer’s tan, take off that T-shirt and those ratty jeans and trade them in for the only important piece of apparel you’ll need all season. You know what I’m talking about. I’m talking about a swimsuit.
This week, the Scene brings you its annual summer guide/swimsuit issue, with its usual portfolio of unusual suspectslocal notables who’ve agreed to bare almost all to get you in the spirit of the season.
Also inside, you’ll find out what’s going on around town for the next few months, from what to read on the beach, to the next sequel storming your local cineplex, to how to make a political statement in your garden, to how to cook a drunk chicken. That’s right, you heard me. A drunk chicken.
The sun is out. The water is warm. So step to the prow and dive in.

Oh, gentrification! How doubly sharp are your two faces. The charm of the vertically reserved…
I remember when I started kindergarten I knew my ABCs, though I don't remember learning…
I voted for Dean and Pinkston....because they are goal orienated and not particular good Politicans…
Having a grandchild who attends Pre-K, and being the one who picks her up everyday…
