Stuff at Writer's Stage

Stuff It

Stuff It
Nashville playwright Jim Reyland first workshopped this critically well-received work at The Belcourt almost ten years ago. This anniversary remounting reunites original actors Barry Scott and Matthew Carlton in a tale of two former army buddies hired to clean accumulated stuff out of an old warehouse. As their work progresses, we learn of their violent past, then witness the cathartic process by which they confront personal recriminations and discover forgiveness. The performance takes place at a newly converted space donated to Reyland's Writer's Stage by real-estate developers Steve Armistead and Bill Barkley. An audience talkback will follow all shows, a portion of the proceeds of which benefits the Campus for Human Development. Stuff contains adult language.
Thursdays-Saturdays; Sun., Dec. 14. Starts: Dec. 4. Continues through Dec. 20, 2008
