Star Wars in Concert at Sommet Center

You've Gotta Be Sithing Me!

You've Gotta Be Sithing Me!
Oh man. Oh God. Oh boy. All right, we’re going to do our best to contain our sheer nerd-gasm elation over the prospect of a multi-faceted, multimedia Star Wars event of such epic proportions, but we can’t make any promises here. A full symphony orchestra and choir have been roaming the land, not unlike a crew of Jawas in one of their sandcrawler transport vessels, visiting concert venues to play music from all six—yes, full canon—of John Williams’ Star Wars scores while accompanied by footage from the films displayed on a three-story LED “super-screen.” The best part? C3P0 himself, the pathologically British Mr. Anthony Daniels, will be narrating the entire event. Star Wars in Concert also features an exclusive traveling exhibit of Star Wars costumes, props, production artwork and behind-the-scenes videos to slake the nerd-thirst of even the most insatiable Jedi. With tickets priced at just over 30 credits, deciding whether or not to attend this one should be easier than shooting womp-rats in Beggars’ Canyon back home.
