Aside from the bathroom stall, our favorite artistic medium has got to be human flesh. And right behind that on the Graph of Graphical Radness (we made it in Excel!) we’d have to go with spraypaint, and probably skateboards right after that, but before decoupage and way above those weird potholder-loop thingies we used to make at summer camp. Or maybe it’s spraypaint, tattoos, decoupage and … well, you get the idea — we like art! And hip-hop! So when you put the two together and throw in permanent dermal modification as a backdrop, you know we’re going to flip, as is the case with Stacks on Decks. With over 50 custom-painted skateboard decks in the main gallery, 30 feet of temporary wall for the Workforce Rebellion crew to perform their Krylon magic, the incredible DJ Mike Vulcan, and some of the city’s hottest new rappers — like Bobby Exodus and Last of The Horsemen — it’s sure to be a blast.
