Split & Twisted

When: Sept. 15-28 2011
Watkins College wears a lot of hats. We spill a fair amount of ink on behalf of their fine art programs and their up-and-coming filmmakers, but those are just parts of a larger story. One of the college’s strongest departments is graphic design, and the school’s annual juried student graphic design exhibition is always a bold display of what the school’s designers-to-be have in store for the professional field. Judged by a jury of noted pros, Split & Twisted will feature work in seven categories: advertising, advertising-poster, multimedia, corporate identity, illustration, publication design and package design. Department chair Dan Brawner says viewers can expect “a crisp, lean, smart show featuring the very best of Watkins Graphic Design.”
